Tennessee State Championship Demolition Derby Friday, September 11, 2009, free fair admission from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., grandstand gates open at 6.  Derby starts at 6:30.  16 & Older, $10, 15 & Under $5 - OPEN TO ALL COUNTY FAIR DEMO DERBY PARTICIPANTS AND NEWCOMERS! $6,500 purse based on an 80-car field.  Tickets can be purchased AT gate day of show or in advance by calling 615-242-2077.

Senior Day Sponsored by Humana MarketPOINT - Thursday, September 17, 2009.  9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Sports Arena inside the Family Fun Zone.  We've lined up a day of old old fashion fun for the active-aging and young at heart!  Meet Mrs. Senior Tennessee, play games, listen to great music and meet Happy Tales pets.  The ever-exciting mule-pulling exhibition will give a special show on Thursday as well.  There will be give-aways throughout the day including, bus trips to Tunica and Metropolis, VIP dinner certificates to Chaffin's Barn Dinner Theatre and Gold Circle Tickets to the Grand Ole Opry.  Admission is FREE for Seniors and lunch is included for the first 1,000 seniors to arrive.  Don't miss this fun-filled day of food, fun and fellowship.

CANCELLED:  This event has been cancelled due to the rain.  The Tennessee State Fair has not had enough dry weather to prepare the track.  Online ticket sales can be refunded.  Please view your ticket information for instructions.  We apologize, but the rain has made it impossible to prepare the track for the Mid-South Pullers.  Tickets for Roller Girls are still available and the show will be a blast!
